Volunteer Cryptocurrency Advisor (X2)
This job is no longer accepting applications.
ConceptCoin is looking to hire two people to serve as volunteer advisors for a new experiment in the form of a faux-cryptocurrency.
“ABSTRACT: A thought experiment in the form of faux-crypto, ran entirely with a notebook and a pencil, ConceptCoin is a closed-source, over-centralised, peer-to-overlord-to-peer (P2O2P) currency. It features lightning-slow transactions, a barely fungible paper asset, a non-distributed ledger, an ice-cold wallet, a human hash, dumb contracts, AND a mutable offline Mockchain.”
If that paragraph made any sense to you and you have any interest in the current state of crypto, you might just be perfect to take part in this tongue-in-cheek, satirical project (although it does serve as an actual experiment and should be a lot of fun).
The position is voluntary but it basically requires zero work from yourself and would just involve listing your name on an upcoming white-paper laying out the roadmap and general ethos of ConceptCoin.
You’d also be involved in some of the decision-making and offer occasional assistance with ideas and thoughts.
This all probably sounds a bit silly, but if you’re interested in crypto and this ad has intrigued you in the slightest, maybe get in touch and I can explain a little more?
Send across a CV or just a little information about yourself and why this role interests you.
Below, you’ll find a few (in-work) pages from our upcoming white paper, which might give you a better idea about the nature of this project:
