CI/CD Engineer (with AWS experience)
Description
Ferrum is seeking a highly self motivated CI/CD Engineer. The CI/CD Engineer will be responsible for the set-up, maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure. The candidate must be experienced in creating and maintaining fully automated CI build processes and also be able to write build and deployment scripts.
Responsibilities
• Support CI/CD tools integration/ operations/ change management, and maintenance.
• Enable DevOps by moving code from Dev/ Test to Staging and Production. Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline.
• On-board/ train and support developers from source control, through build automation, merge resolution, CI, test automation, deployment based on tools usage and policies, standards.
• Develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.
• Support full automation of CI/ Testing.
• Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system.
• Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
• Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
• Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform.
• Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes.
Requirements
• Must have experience with: Developing CI/CD principles, Reviewing and modifying CI/CD principles, iteratively, Maintain CI/CD tools/platforms, Develop and maintain pipeline configurations, Automate processes.
• At least 2+ years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, ELK and deploying applications on AWS
• Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform
• Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools.
